The 2015 Banaam Indigenous Surf Titles is on!
Get down to Bundjalung Country at Fingal Head NSW this weekend to catch a wave or just hang out with some of the best Indigenous Surfers in Australia.
The 2015 Banaam Indigenous Surf Titles festival runs from the 10th to the 13th of September with the official Opening Ceremony ‘Mixing of the Waters’ this Friday, 11th September from 9am-10am at Fingal Head Surf Club.
Headsox Flexible Headwear is a proud partner sponsor of this years event and has donated $2000 worth of Headsox from it’s Aboriginal Desert Art collection for the competitors, their families and the event volunteers to enjoy, as well as a $500 cash prize to be shared amongst the outstanding younger competitors.
Headsox Flexible Headwear is passionate about creating opportunities for Indigenous artists to earn extra income from their artwork. #Headsox is a member of the Indigenous Art code and our Artist Licensing Program has been providing an on going royalty income stream for each Headsox artist for all sales of their #Headsox design. We reckon that’s cool!
The Surf forecast for Fingal Head is a rising swell, 2’ to 3’ by Sunday, perfect size for the groms to show off their best maneuvers.
