We support the Andrew Love Cancer Centre
The artwork used in this Headsox design was created by a group of wonderfully talented art students at the Silverton Primary School Noble Park and donated to Barwon Health’s Supportive Care Centre in early 2018 to help support patients and staff at the Andrew Love Cancer Centre (ALCC) to feel better.
Hi my name is Phil the owner Headsox. In early 2018 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non Hodgkins Lymphoma and after six gruelling months of chemo therapy I am very happy to be cancer free and I am so grateful to be alive and feeling well.
Early in my journey back to health and during my many visits to the spiritual support centre at the ALCC I was so moved by what I was experiencing, we decided to hatch a plan to use the donated students’ artwork - for this special Headsox bandana - as a positive affirmation to remind us that we are all connected.
Every sale of this wonderful Headsox helps us to fund and supply this Headsox design free to every ALCC out patient going through chemo.
I want to thank my beautiful wife, family and friends for their love and support. Also my heartfelt thank you to all the staff at the ALCC for their incredible dedication, love and support. Through this community support initiative we are sending our love and strength to all those people battling cancer. Best wishes Phil xo
